Combined Train/Bus ticket

Hi there

Do any of you know whether its possible to get a combined rail and bus
season ticket for a specific route (as opposed to a zonal ticket).

i'm moving house, and my new route will be home-bus-local
station-work station and vice-versa. Can I get a ticket that covers
both the bus journey and the train journey?

If your work station is out of London, you can get a season ticket that
covers the route, plus a Travelcard that covers you within London, or
(as my husband's) zones 2-6. I don't know if it's possible to get a
bus-pass (as opposed to Travelcard) add-on, but it ought to be.....

I used to have a bus-pass add-on to my tube ticket many years ago.
But that was in the days before Travelcards.....

It would probably help to know where you are moving to...
For instance, in Aylesbury, if you hold a month or longer Chiltern
Railways season ticket you can get a free bus trip (within the "town"
area) to the town centre on Arriva buses. There is a similar scheme
in High Wycombe as well.
If you know who your local bus or train operator will be, you could
always contact them.
