Walking from Heathrow Terminal 4

Is it possible to walk from Heathrow Terminal 4 to East Bedfont across the
A30 or do the paths run out making it better to get off at Hatton Cross?

If you turn right on the A30 heading south, there is traffic lights and a
pedestrian crossing at the junction with Stanwell Road.

Although I'm not sure if there are footpaths out of the terminal to the A30.

There's an overhead walkway to the Hilton Hotel, which gets you quite a
long way from the immediate vicinity of the terminal; and the Hotel is
effectively on the A30 (in the middle of a roundabout on...)

iirc the walkway connects near the far righthand end (looking at the BA
desks) of the departures area.

Yes, the walkway is at the east end of the terminal on the departures
level, tear the HEx lift and the First check-in desks. The hotel is
north of the A30, but close to it.
