A40 Westway yesterday morning
 

Any idea what happened to cause that to be closed yesterday? Was it closed
in both directions or just Eastbound? I ask as the ring road
(Euston/Marylebone Roads) heading out to the West was absolutely gridlocked.
I know the tube strike happened, but other main roads (A4, Embankment)
weren't flowing nearly as badly by a long way.
