Well spotted!

Someone has evidently seen "Ludgate Circus National Rail symbol" on
the list of N11 stops (e.g. at http://www.busmap.org/tt/N011.pdf ), and
hasn't realised it means Ludgate Circus for City Thameslink station.
They didn't make the same mistake with Trafalgar Square, though.

I get the feeling that proof checking of spider maps is something of a hit
and miss affair.

When the New Barnet spider was produced about 18 months ago, I casually
noticed a minor typo and when I looked closer found a whole list of errors.
Apart from spelling errors and incorrect road names, High Barnet Station was
marked with the National Rail symbol instead of the Tube roundel, and the
detailed 'map' section in the centre showed bus stops located in the wrong
places.

After receiving a rather offhand email reply from TfL, the online PDFs were
quickly changed, but the printed posters at the bus stops took some months
to be replaced.

Have you checked any of the "continuing your journey" maps handed out at
stations? IME of the street maps, 50% of the buildings marked are shown in
completely the wrong streets.
