Default Maximun length of buses

Hello,

I was looking at
http://www.vanhool.com/products_bus_...Categ oryID=1
and wondered if such a vehicle could legally operate in London?

There is draft legislation for 18.75m buses
http://www.dft.gov.uk/stellent/group...dft_roads_pdf_
507657.pdf so that means for the moment there is a shorter maximum
length. Does anyone know what that is?

I think they have to worry about longer vehicles on roads which are simply
too small such as those traversed by route 73

18 metres is the length of the Bendis used in London at the moment.
