LU Extension Tickets

Is there anyone around who has first hand knowledge of LUL's ticketing
system? OK, perhaps this isn't a regular thing for ticket clerks, but
most I have come across seem to have great difficulty in issuing an
extension to my Zone 1 & 2 Annual Priv (75%) rate season to a zone
further on when buying it from a Zone 1 or 2 station. Most start off by
denying a "Priv" rate extension exists or issue it incorrect. One the
other day managed to work out the price (55p - Zone 2 boundary to Zone 6)
and couldn't get the system to issue the ticket. In the end he issued the
ticket from Finsbury Park, changed the price to 55p and wrote "Extension"
over the ticket and his name on the back!

Perhaps a step by step procedure I could recite to clueless ticket clerks
might be worth having for next time!

Thanks.

Can't help with the LU part, but the extensions to LU Zonal Destinations
(except the Met North of Moor Park) are now given in Section K3 of the
National Rail Fares Manuals, so any National Rail Ticket Office *should*
be able to issue the ticket.

Thanks, Barry. As it happens I have a choice at my local station
(Finsbury Park) with both WAGN & LUL windows and I have to say WAGN
usually make much less fuss.....
