Yes.

You did mean Terminal 4 in the title?

There are two Tube stations, Terminals 1-3 and Terminal 4.

Terminal 4 has its own Tube station.

There's also a bus station at T123 called Heathrow Central

There is a travelator (horizontal escalator) connection between the
terminals and the underground station.

I misread your initial post, sorry.

I don't know but there are ATMs within most Tube stations and within
airline terminals.

There are some to your right as you come through the Arrivals channel
into the public part of the terminal (where the drivers, meeters and
greeters are) - used them this morning on my way back from Hong Kong.

Why (ohwhyohwhy) is there no ATM in the baggage haul so you can get some
cash while waiting interminably for your luggage? Is that just too
sensible for BAA?

Is it something to do with the baggage collection hall being international
territory?

It is a sensible place to have them, so I'm sure there will be good solid
purely bureaucratic reasons for them not being installed. ;-)

Sorry, I meant in Terminal 3.

And I meant in Terminal 3 by the exit, not just Terminal 3 in the rant
about ATMs in the baggage hall. Or, indeed, the baggage haul. All
Terminals - I invariably need money for cabs, etc, coming through all
terminals. But, as has been pointed out, it's probably international
waters in there, or something.

/makes note to self not to post before brain recovers from longhaul
flights.

It's past UK immigration.

It's probably for "Security" reasons, as if they were before Customs,
any member of staff going to maintain or 'top up' the machines would
have to have an airside security pass, if memory serves.

And it's highly unlikely that anyone carrying a million quid in cash is
likely to pass the background tests and qualify for a security pass.

Meanwhile every spotty kid serving in the Dixons in the [airside,
obviously] departures lounge has a security pass he found on the back of
his box of breakfast cereal.
