Could it be to try to stop people boarding at T&W and WP, and let WF's

Why do you assume it's deliberate? Does it not occur to you it might simply
be a fault that the technicians haven't been able to fix yet?

A FEW WEEKS? Anything north of Hampstead has shown duff information for
as long as I can remember!

Well, at least since 1988.
That year, I travelled with my father from Golders Green[1] and he joked
that the information was better 'in his day'. He is now 74 and has been
using the Northern Line for a l-o-n-g time...

[1] He wanted Bank trains, I wanted Charing Cross. We would take the
first train and travel together. The one who *had* to change trains was
not necessarily the one who thought it on boarding...

Well, at least since 1988.

Indeed. When I used to live near and commute on the northern line back in
the mid 90s the only thing you could rely on with the indicators is that
you couldn't rely on them! The only use they had was to inform us that yes
there was a train coming at some point if we waited!
