Stanmore old station

Hi all

There is a building called "The Old Station" at the corner of Gordon Ave and
Old Church Lane, but it looks too new to be the old station, and doesn't
particularly look like a station. It bears a plaque about the Harrow And
Stanmore Railway. Is it the original station building, or merely occupying
the site?

If you can see something looking IIRC vaguely church-like then it's the
old station; otherwise, the location sounds correct but you might have some
newer construction blocking the view.

I think more or less just the front wall was retained. The building was
disused for many years, right into the 1980's. I used to walk past quite
often and just along from there for a long time was often parked, a mini
car covered in old pennies.
