So basically the price for a weekend's travel has risen for everybody.

If there's no discount for a three day travelcard then why even bother
with one?

If there's no discount for a three day travelcard then why even bother
with one?

So people don't have to queue up three times on three seperate busy morning
to buy one? And to save paper?

I was rather hoping they would give us a clue on this one: not only no
discount on All Zones but only Z12 or All Zones (so absolutely useless if
you are heading into central london from Zones 3, 4 or 5).

Nothing stopping you buy 3 ODTCs in one transaction.

And to save paper?


I suppose so, but it doesn't seem likely given that all the existing
Weekend Travelcard stock will go in the bin.

don't understand why these tickets aren't marketed as transferable.
Many European cities market such tickets as such (sometimes at a
premium price).

But often not at a premium. The only difference where I am
between a 'personal' card and a transferable one is that the
personal one can be replaced if you lose it and gives a right
to a refund of the penalty fare if you forget to travel with it.
