I'm planning to visit London in the spring, so I'd like to know what is the
best way of travel in the centre for about 4 days.

For most tourists, a Zone 1-2 ticket covers their activities:
1 Day Travelcard, which can only be used after 9:30am is GBP4.70;
1 Day Travelcard, which can be used before 9:30am is GBP6.00; and
3 Day Travelcard, which can be used before 9:30am is GBP15.00.
