Default Underground to scale

I found this site which shows many the world's
underground/subway/metro systems to the same scale. Worth a look.

(I had a feeling this has been on the NG before but I did try to check
- sigh, send the flames)

Well, I definitely pointed out on a previous occasion that the claim
of all the maps being to the same scale was completely false. But I
don't remember whether it came up on this newsgroup then, and I haven't
reexamined the site to see if anything has changed.

I remember seeing the diagrams being discussed on another website,
with various people also claiming that they weren't at all to scale.

The London one seems rather old too - no JLE, or DLR to Stratford...
