That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line -
It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes

Well, if he was after London's **first** railways, St Pancras isn't the
place to go, being a relative newcomer and beaten by London Bridge,
Euston, Nine Elms (replaced by Waterloo), Paddington,
Shoreditch/Bishopsgate (replaced by Liverpool Street), Minories
(replaced by Fenchurch Street), Fenchurch Street, Bricklayers Arms
(long closed), Waterloo, Maiden Lane (replaced by Kings Cross), Kings
Cross, Pimlico (replaced by Victoria), Victoria, Charing Cross,
Blackfriars (first station on south side of the Thames), Broad Street
and Cannon Street!

I didn't hear him say that St Pancras was the first terminus and he quite
clearly indicated that the line from Woolwich was the first into London. At
this point in time St Pancras is by far the most interesting terminus to the
general public at whom this program was aimed.

Greenwich, actually. Some nice pictures of the work going on at St P, and
inside the St P hotel.
