Central line closure

Did Metromess ever give a reason other than "unforseen
circumstances" about them closing an eastern part of the
central line for 4 days and then doing bugger all work?
Will they get a hefty fine for this eff-up or will it be the
standard slap on the wrist and business as usual?

According to the Metro, they couldn't get enough people to do the work.

Surely it wouldn't be Metronet doing the work anyway but a
subcontractor. I hope that Metronet have shafted the subbie.

The subbie would be Balfour Beatty, who have a 20% share in Metronet.
Can't see that one going down well.
