Signalling Problem at Raynes Park

Anyone know the reason behind the problems at Raynes Park earlier
today? I arrived at Waterloo just after 6pm wanting a Hampton Court
train, only to find total choas with seemingly nothing moving on the
mainline. Instead I got a train to Reading, got off at Richmond and
continued by bus. Between Waterloo and Clapham Junction we passed down
several trains stopped on the line.
Irs been a bit hot today, was it the wrong sort of heat again?

I think there were signalling problems there last Wednesday or
Thursday evening last week as well.
