"Sorry I'm 4 hours late, Miss, but I tried to use the DFES map to get to school
this morning and got, like, totally confused. Oh, and why did the men in white
coats take away our geography teacher?"

I'm not sure it's any city in particular.

I don't know how they chose which schools to match with stations, but
the schools that I know of (listed on the northern part of the
Piccadilly) are often a very long way from the stations concerned, and
in some cases are not assigned to the nearset station.

The only one i know is Maria Fidelis, which is a few minutes' walk north
of Euston, not Camden Town as shown.

Not sure how close Seven Kings High School is to Chancery Lane, either,
and i'd be very surprised if Greenford High School and Drayton Manor High
School were at Queensway and Notting Hill Gate, respectively!

It looks like schools are vaguely assigned to the right quadrant, but
beyond that it's pot luck. The only Ealing (borough) school I can see
allocated to its nearest station is Twyford High at West Acton.

No-one has ever proved that cycle helmets make cycling any safer at
the population level, and anyway cycling is about as safe per mile as
walking.

The schools assigned to Clapham South and Balham are in Sutton!

Anyone know the significance of the various random celebrities dotted around
the map?

And the omission of Gillian Taylforth?
