If you buy a seven day travelcard on oyster do they wave the 3 pound
fee is this the case on both peak and off peak cards ?

Yes, but I am not sure what you mean by the peak and off-peak part.

A seven-day travelcard is valid during the peaks, and still costs less
than seven off-peak one-day travelcards.

As I recall, yes.

is this the case on both peak and off peak cards ?


I wasn't aware of an off-peak 7-day Travelcard existing, though one
would probably be a very good idea and such things do exist in other
cities, Hamburg and Liverpool to name two.

Yes they waive the deposit.
I don't think there's an off-peak Travelcard though.
