Default Commuting to London with a Freedom Pass - is this person scamming?

On Thu, 21 Feb 2008 11:49:26 -0800 (PST), Mizter T

Of course, he might have been purposefully acting dumb. Also, was he
really just making a journey to Finsbury Park, or was he actually just
changing there and travelling onwards on the Tube, using Oyster PAYG
to pay the fare for that?

If he was changing to the tube at Finsbury Park, would it not make
more sense to walk/bus to Turnpike Lane?
