Special on District line yesterday (7088+7075)

I saw units 7088/7055 at Mile End yesterday lunchtime as a 'special'
with a high powered light at the front, what looked like cameras at
either end, and quite a few Tube staff in donkey jackets, as well as
cables, in each of the carriages.

What was all this about? TIA

I'd expect so with those unit numbers.

Actually the rear unit wasn't 7055, it was 7075 as in the thread title.
