Default What's up with the 243 bus?

Recently I've noticed the 243 bus whizzing along Southgate Road every
now and then... normally the 21, 141 and 76 are the only buses to be
found (unles you count the 812, which I am told passes by - but never
seen it).

This morning I decided to hop on as one came along as I was waiting
for the 76 to take me to work.

Quite a few people were surprised when it turned right at the Old St
roundabout, probably not having looked at the front of the bus and
just expecting every bus to go down Moorgate.

Has the 243 route been changed? There's no signs on the bus stop to
say it should be passing.

D.
