What's happening at Streatham Hill railway station

It seems that just about every weekend, the station is closed and all I
see as progress is less of the station buildings.
Is anyone aware of the longer term plans?

Yes, it's being modernised, with new footbridge, shelters, staircases
and lifts. The area around the station is also being refreshed.

The station has only been closed on a few weekends - as I use it every
Saturday and Sunday!

Disabled friendly access and other modifications to make it a slightly
more bearable station to use!
