Can anyone give any information on the steam boiler and associated
bits and pieces held in the enclosure, that once was used for the
annual Steam on the Met weekends?

This sounds like GWR 94xx 0-6-0PT no 9466 which is being overhauled at

9466 lives in the engine shed (or at least the frames and wheels)

The boiler has just recently arrived back from Bridgnorth (Severn Valley
Railway), where the whole loco was originally dismantled...
