Rail Replacement Busses

I noted some MCW Metrobus vehicles on rail replacements around
Marylebone last weekend and wondered how these were allowed since I
thought they would have been banned under the Low Emission Zone rules,
and also for that matter so would the Tour busses. Can anyone shed any
light on the subject?!

possibly the operator has opted to pay the 200 pound per day fee to
enter the LEZ with a non-compliant vehicle, or more likely, they've
had the vehicle re-engined with a compliant model (or updated the
existing engine to be compliant).
