A signalman has been relieved of duty whilst the investigation takes place. BBC News suggests the driver did act by the book in that he had obtained permission to proceed after the SPAD only to find another train crossing his path. Do they keep recordings of the train-to-signalbox voice communications (like they to with ATC)? |
