Mind you, the RT was still in production in 1954 (paradoxically,
some of these had OLD nnn numberplates).

The main reason to link the RMs with 1959/62 TS was that they all had
aluminium bodies. The RTs and 1938TS were all-steel (something of a
novelty in 1930s buses).
