Voice of the Tube
Would anyone be willing to make a couple recordings of tube announcements?
Specifially I'd like the announcements just before Bayswater where she says, "The next station is Bayswater; this is a blah-blah..." And then, "This is Bayswater" when you get there. Anyone? :) J.O. |

Sorry, no can do. However, I can offer uk.transport.london a link to an interview with the voice of the Victoria, Bakerloo and Central lines which you've reminded me of ... http://www.b3ta.com/interview/emmaclarke/ Regards, Kieran |

Anyone? :) Tangentially.... (sorry I can't help, but...) The Circle line announcements? Who is the woman whose voice they use? I do like the sound of her:-) On the other hand, It'd be hard to live with "This is the kitchen, stop here for making tea, coffea and mainline meals... ..." J.O. -- Nick H (UK) |
