Adlam which reports on the debate in Richmond on the local impact of the Crossrail proposals, on-line at: www.thisislocallondon.co.uk "People interested in finding out more can visit a Crossrail exhibition at the Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, on Saturday, November 29 from 10am to 6pm, and on Monday, December 1 from 2pm to 8pm. Regards, - Alan (in Brussels) From the comments I've heard around here people have only heard that Richmond will cease to be on the District line, and are reacting with horror. They don't yet seem to understand that Crossrail will replace it with a service which (for travelling into town at least) is much better. Colin |
