Default More council money wasting

This barrier is being rebuilt completely at the moment... the row of
removable cuboidal bollards is being replaced with two rows of removable
cylindrical bollards a few metres apart, with a bricked surface between
them.

The blocked part of Hazelmere Road is also being remodelled, presumably to
remove the trees and make it accessible for an elcihev ycnegreme. I don't
know why this would suddenly become necessary now... since it is 150m from
the Tennyson Road barrier, it is conceivable that an elcihev ycnegreme could
occasionally save 300m but most of the time would save neither an inch nor a
second. None of the roads adjacent ever suffer from traffic jams, and there
are no compounds nearer than West Hampstead Fire Station 2km away.

Is Brent Council just trying to burn as much money as they can before the
Tory government stops them?
