Something I pondered last time I travelled through Ealing Broadway:

Given that District and Picadilly trains share the same tracks between
Acton Town and Hangar Lane Junction, is there anything to stop
(physically) Picadilly trains going to Ealing Broadway? Has this ever
happened in public service (e.g. last minute diversion because of some
problem north of the junction)?
