By all means have the cable car as well, but not instead of the road.


Good to see Ken just after the 8-years of Labour Mayor + Labour
government lecturing others about what should have happened.


As I recall he was always in favour of a new crossing between
Silvertown and the Greenwich Peninsula and did indeed argue the case
for it - but any such thing would have needed very substantial support
from central government. Just because Livingstone was Labour (after he
wasn't for a little bit) and the government was Labour, your supposed
notion that they were signing from the very same hymn sheet is rather
ludicrous.
