Default King's Cross tonight

In message , at 18:27:03
on Mon, 10 Jan 2011, remarked:
I arrived at the Cross 14:50 and was going to catch the 15:15. I was
sitting in the train that was due to form it but then they evacuated the
station.

No information on how long it would take to sort out so I cycled to
Liverpool St, only to find that the wires were down North of Broxbourne
with substitute buses

Ironically, the advice for people heading out of Liverpool St was to use
alternative services (presumably from Kings Cross).

so no way of getting home to Cambridge with my bike.

You have to accept that dragging your cycle around with you all the time
will have its drawbacks.

No-one seemed to know what caused the security alert, even the gripper on
my train.

"Security Alert", although that's a "Road Works" or "Industrial Action"
kind of Oxymoron, and should really be "Insecurity Alert" !!
