Is it? * Where did you hear that then?


I thought it was stated at the time of the takeover that the long term
plan was to do the same for Tube Lines as for Metronet (which was also
run as an arms-length subsidiary for a couple of years after TfL
rescued it). That may have been press speculation rather than truth
though.

Still, it would seem odd if that *wasn't* the plan...
