Birkbeck - Does this work like the Croydons with an out and in or like

Birkbeck railway station and and tram stop are in effect totally
separate entities, facing each other across a fence. You have to leave
one network, go under the bridge on the roadside pavement and enter the
other network at the other side.

So it is like the Croydons, except there is no station ticket gate.
