Yes, it was - at least, it mostly was - the new(-ish) pitch at
Ashburton Grove has some synthetic fibres woven in with the turf
("Desso Grassmaster"), though I'm not sure if this synthetic element
was ever a feature at the old Highbury.

As Paul Scott says, the Google maps aerial image shows the pitch being
'sunned'.

Lighting.

Grow lamps actually - from *.nl if I recall.

Wembley have the same lamp arrays. 3 Phase rigs. There also quite big you
could just about stand under one of them.
