How do they calculate a NR+TfL 'through fare' for a TfL only journey, e.g.
Southfields to Wimbledon? What will the Zone 1 fare be for railcard
holders?

The TfL Fare Finder for 2011 gives £1.40 Peak/£1.30 Off-Peak as the
undiscounted fare for Southfields - Wimbledon, and £1.40 Peak/85p
Off-Peak as the Railcard fare.

Southfields to Earlsfield is given as £1.50/£1.30 undiscounted, and
£1.50/85p with Railcard.

Covent Garden to Leicester Square is given as £1.90 undiscounted, £1.90
Peak/£1.25 Off-Peak with Railcard.

Cheers,

Barry

That looks like a discount for a pure TfL fare to me.

It does (it's a third off rounded down to the nearest 5p) - in which
case my theory is disproven (at least partially).

That was why I asked about Zone 1 because if your theory would break
anywhere it would be there.
