Default Central line - Good Service

How could the Central Line be running a good service this evening around
half seven when there was a gap of eight minutes for the next train?

Also constant announcements from the control room at Bond Street
station....zzzzz

Unfortunately a "good service" in LU speak simply means some trains are
running. I've heard the exact same drivel through the tannoy while waiting
on a piccadilly line platform with 300 other people for 10 minutes in the
middle of the rush hour on dozens of occasions.

When I was stuck on the Jubilee line on the night the S stock failed
at Finchley Road Thursday 3rd Feb and it took more than 45 minutes to
get from Finchley Road to Wembley Park (6 stops)
My tube buddy claimed this was Good Service

Is tube buddy some kind of app or do LU hire out staff to be the friendly
travelling companion of stressed out commuters now?

Presumably they'd equip them with body armour...

It doesn't even mean that. In the past, they've claimed the Victoria
Line has a Good Service when the entire line was at a standstill due to a
broken down train!

Blackberry app linked to "the tube " departure board
Brilliant for those who live on the Met Piccadilly where there are no
departure boards in the distant West

PS Googles your friend

They can't even open the ticket offices when they are supposed to. The
ticket office in the Tube ticket hall at Kings Cross is supposed to
open from 05:00 - 00:45 on Monday - Friday, even under the new opening
hours. However this morning at 06:45 not a single window was open.
"Staff shortage" I suppose.
