Oyster Top Up
The following comment has been posted on the London SE1 community website discussion forum. : Machines at London Bridge are taking your money, from card and cash, : clearly stating your card is topped up, then not having the money on : them at the barriers. Staff are pretending to be surprised. I've : watched the same member of staff doing it with different passengers. : I keep hearing the same complaint from passengers. Unfortunately, : rather than put a notice on the machines to say always press for a : receipt, supervisors have decided to tell staff to lie and say it : doesn't happen. Is this just a London Bridge thing or does it occur elsewhere? |

Oyster Top Up

Having watched a young girl almost bend her card in half in order to place it on a bus reader it was no wonder the card was struggling to be read by the target! However, that is a known way of getting a recalcitrant card to give a reading; in fact she may have learnt this from a member of staff. |
