From Croxley Rail Link team:-
As you may be aware Croxley Rail Link is the proposed diversion of the Watford branch of the Metropolitan line to Watford Junction via the former Croxley Green branch line. The scheme involves the construction of a new viaduct and two new stations, at Ascot Road & Vicarage Road. The link will also connect with Watford High Street station. ... This looks promising (after these many years). Let us hope this time the project realy does move forward. I'm just looking at the map. Croxley Green station is just to the east of Watford Road. The Met Watford branch is just to the west of the same road. It needs a bridge - OK, it may need slightly more than that. But just do it. Regards Jonathan |
