Default New Year

London spent £4.5million advertsing London as the place to celebrate
New Year and then London Underground and the Met. Police got together
telling people not to travel into London as it will be too busy.
Nothing will be open. Underground stations will close because of
overcrowding. Money well spent (!)
New Years Day parade though was great in Central London as it was last
year. Maybe next year (or at the end of this one) they should move the
parade to Midnight as Underground and the police seem to cope with a
parade without shutting down every underground station in the area in
a blind panic and begging people to stay away.
