I travelled from Canada Water to Clapham Junction today at about 13.30.
To my surprise the train was well loaded and the passengers did not look
like railway enthusiasts. They seemed to be normal Londoners going
about their business. I wasn't aware that the new service had been
so widely publicised.

If this is anything to go by, within a few months the service will be very
busy. It will be interesting to see how many commuters coming into
Clapham Junction from points further south change to the Overground.
