I have set a fund-raising quiz about Enfield. One of the questions is
'Where can the facade of the original Enfield Town Station building,
demolished 1872, be found?'

The answer I have is 'the Science Museum' - most people have answered
'the Victoria and Albert Museum'.

My information comes from a 1931 guide to Enfield - I now cannot
corroborate this answer. The facade was persevered as an example of
moulded brickwork, but does anyone know where it is? (I'll contact the
museums on Monday, but the quiz closed yesterday, and I'm supposed to
announce a winner tomorrow (Sunday) - and, as the law of Mr Sod would
have it, this could be the decider.

I hope Steve is still interested, almost 11 years after he needed to
announce the quiz winner.
