Default DLR ATO

It doesn't seem to like going down hills much. Twice now I've been on a train
thats done an emergency stop (control light goes to red, long bleep) on a
descent presumably due to overspeeding. Is the ATO not up to the job or is
wheelslip on braking an issue?
