When does an Oyster pre-paid journey end?

I've wondered how Oyster pre-pay copes with a change from
Northern to Circle at Kings Cross, since that involves going
out through one set of gates and in another. The old magnetic
single tickets would let you. I wonder if there's a special case
for Oyster prepay.

In the same way paper tickets do.

A journey on the Undergournd to Liverpool Street then to Walthamstow
Central on WAGN (sorry - one West Anglia) works fine even with exiting
at the LU gates and entering at the NR ones at Liverpool Street.

Cheers,

Jason.
