Default Kentish Town to Gravesend

On the way back I saw that there was a train, Kentish Town to Gravesend,

It was going through Greenwich and Deptford and Woolwich. Strange train.

One of the services introduced in the May timetable change was Luton-Rainham (Kent) via Woolwich and Greenwich (replacing the Charring Cross - Gillingham semi fast). I assume terminating at Gravesend is either a "Thameslink timetable problem" related issue, or an out-of-pattern peak hours or late evening type service.
