In article , Barry Salter
writes The TfL Journey Planner suggests several routes: 1) Northern Line to Stockwell Victoria Line to Green Park Piccadilly Line to Heathrow Without luggage, that strikes me as by far the best route - cross-platform at Stockwell and a walk at Green Park. With baggage the Green Park bit may be annoying. 2) Northern Line to Stockwell Victoria Line to Victoria Circle/District Line to South Kensington Piccadilly Line to Heathrow Difficult change at South Kensington; gawd knows why it's suggested that one. 3) Northern Line to Stockwell Victoria Line to Victoria District Line to Hammersmith Piccadilly Line to Heathrow. Better by far. You've got escalator-walk-stairs at Victoria to cope with, though. I'd go through to Embankment and change there, instead of using the Victoria Line. It might take a few minutes more, but the change involves a bit less distance to carry a suitcase. -- Clive D.W.
