Default Rail link plans get backing

There're some residents with houses backing on to the Croxley spur
objecting to the plans on the grounds of noise and nuisance ...

Very little of the viaduct will be near any houses so the only residents that
will be affected by noise and nuisance are the ones that already live next to
the railway line.
Now what came first the railway or the residents?
