I understand completely. I've been doing this for decades. I don't
like having to take time out to educate the ignorant; send multiple
spams for our own defense; nor have to instruct the neophyte on how
the system works. But occasionally new kids get into this and suckers
fall for their crap and start responding. Exactly what the jerks
want. More jerks.


A valid and sensible response which will, of course, have no effect
on the activities of the troll whatsoever. As long as there is
Usenet there will be
trolls. Some will be clever and funny, although the overwhelming
majority will be, like Moishe and his ilk, merely peurile and

The correct way to respond to a crossposted response is to post to
the Xposted thread a single message advising people to remove groups
other than their own from their reply.

I did that. I did that quite a number of times. Hundreds of times.
Did you miss it?


It won't always work, but neither will saturating usenet
with huge, meaningless and multiply repeated dribblings.

Oh, yes. That does work. When I find it necessary to increase it to
over 10,000 replies, people began to take notice. I don't like doing
it; but sometimes it's the only thing that works.

Some actually post (in there own groups) requesting people to do,
just as I've
been asking: "Stop cross posting."

So I will explain, once again, that if you would stop cross posting
into our group, your trouble would be over. Do you need another less
on how to accomplish this? Or are you so stupid, my last set of
