Nothing running through Clapham Junction this morning - a fatality, and a

oups.com... If shops in the Bentall Centre keep closing at the current rate, there won't be any point in shopping in Kingston. Didn't realise it was getting that bad, as I haven't been for a while. I've always thought there should be a faster rail-link to what is one of the best shopping centres in the area - there's too many stops for my liking! Ian (in Balham) |

I visited Kingston at the weekend for shopping. I visit about 4/5 times a year. I too noticed that there was a lot of shops closed down. A huge amount in the Bentalls Centre and lots outside too. And lots having closing down sales (and not the sorts who re-open a week later) Whats going on? Are the landlords getting greedy or are people simply shopping elsewhere? |
