No. The Oyster validator told me to seek assistance. I did. Nope, I've only
got (more than sufficient) PAYG on there, and need at least a weekly
Travelcard.

The bus took ages to arrive, then far longer to actually complete the
journey, plus the walk from where it terminated to Waterloo station itself.

You're just not very observant. look by the station at the end of the
platforms (as opposed to the passageway through to Platform 8). I think
there is also one part way up platform 9 by the other way through to 8.

Someone will no doubt explain why they are there.

Wasn't there a smudge on the work order for installation so they got
installed on platform 9 3/4 ;-)

Finsbury Park:

shed at KX (often platform 8, I think). Are there any Oyster readers on
