I am assuming that you mean the Winbuck line that has only one
intermediate station at Northolt.
IIRC it was built in the 50's using Icelandic miners who were shipped
back home after the project was completed.
Test trains are run on the first Thursday of every month, in case of
power fail there is a back up facility at Windsor Castle that consists
of 5000 hamster wheels using 20,000 hamsters. There is a secret
hamster farm behind Eton Station.

There's also a branch that runs out to Chequers and onward to connect
with Corsham and the secret Trans-Atlantic supersonic highspeed rail
tunnel built using reverse-engineered alien technology. Some bloke I
met in a pub told me where you see a vent shaft from that on Google
Earth just before it goes under the sea near Weston-Super-Mare, but
I've forgotten the exact location.

That's just what they want the public to believe - it really goes to Cosham,
near Portsmouth...

In the past I have speculated that such a passage exists between the
palace grounds and Hyde Park Corner station. It is pure speculation,
based on the proximity (and the fact that no other stations are anywhere
near as close).

Would this be an opportune momment to raise the issue of the
'Strategic Reserve'?

It's at Heapy ex ROF site.
Try parking up close to the site and if you look in the right place you see
little camera in the trees move and point at you.
It was rail connected but it is only a short low loader haul to Network Rail
lines. Mostley ex WD 2-8-0s and some Stanier 2-8-0s with large hoppers of
coal there also. Army trucks take in personel to maintain famililiarity with
the machines and occasionally they must fire up because smoke can sometimes
be seen.
No coincidence that it isn't far from Lostock Hall and Lower Darwen sheds
which were among the last steam shed closures.

As I understand it mostly small stuff like fuzes and caps since most of the
site storage was lost with the demolition of the main Euxton site
